Flushing Notice to Customers of Rhinebeck Water Department

The Rhinebeck Water Department will be flushing hydrants on the following schedule:

OCTOBER 9, 10, 11, 12
All areas on the north side of East and West Market Street
Old Post Road
Rutsen Road
Village Green Apartments
Wells Manor
The Woods

OCTOBER 15, 16, 17, 18, 19
All areas on the south side of East and West Market Streets
Route 308 East
Violet Hill Estates
Hilee Road
Closs Drive

OCTOBER 22, 23, 24, 25, 26
All areas in Rhinecliff will be done on Monday, Tuesday and possibly Wednesday
Rhinecliff Road
River Road
The Gardens

The flushing of hydrants is necessary to maintain the water lines in the system. Some discoloration and turbulence will be found in the water during the flushing. Your water will clear after it has been run for a short time. We ask for everyone's cooperation and patience during this procedure.
