November 1st Rhinebeck Science Foundation Discovery at Chancellor Livingston School from 11-2

 

November 21st Middle-age Musician night at Town Hall at 7 pm.

  1. Pursuant to GML, authorization is given to Town Clerk to return contract bids for Vanderburgh Cove project. If no contract is awarded the Town must release the certified checks back to contractor if they so request in writing.
  2. Approve September 22nd October 7th Town Board minutes.
  3. Scheduling departmental and committee workshops with bookkeeper for the 2009 budget.
  4. Hire Michael Lown as MEO at Highway Department at $14.64 starting October 20, 2008 per Kathy Kinsella recommendation.

6. Approve new timeline for DGEIS

10/24/08 - DGEIS submitted to Town Board (consultant comments to Graham ASAP).

 

10/2708 - DGEIS accepted by Town Board as adequate for public review (Ted, Graham and I will prepare Public Notice and Resolution)

 

11/17/08 - Public Hearing on DGEIS (anticipate closing DGEIS and Actions Public Hearings on that date.

 

12/01/08 - Public Comment period ends.

 

  1. Approve disposal of highway department printer model #84440 which is 3 years old per department request.
  2. Accept John Varricchio resignation from the Planning Board effective December 31, 2008.
  3. Cemetery Toro lawn mower needs new deck estimate from Conway's $1,400.
  4. Waterfront Committee wants to put wanes coating on the ceiling of new pavilion material estimate is $821.76.

 

DISCUSSION

 

  1. Setting budget public hearing (by law must be by November 6th )
  2. Dan Goldman, PANDA Station Manager, has been asked by the Red Hook Town Board if their Town Board meetings can be broadcast on PANDA on Monday nights which means Rhinebeck would be switched from Monday to Wednesday night. He is requesting our approval to make the change.
  3. Committee and job applications - who gets copies of returned applications?
  4. Update on the walk over bridge roof in Rhinecliff
  5. Update on bike rack for waterfront
  6. Waterfront would like permission to rent a boat for next year Waterfront day and to put down the deposit.
  7. New flood maps from DEC.
