Are the members of the Technology Committee just a bunch of geeks?

What group is this for: 
Town Technology Committee

Not exactly. Committee members are intelligent citizens who are
concerned about their town and are contributing in a positive way.
Members have an excellent and broad range of background, and the
committee can certainly use the expertise of others in the community.
