SENIOR CITIZEN DANCE at Town Hall on, Saturday June 7th from 1-4 pm
Concert at Rhinecliff dock on July 13th.
BUSINESS
1. Neighborhood Watch Resolution
2. Approve May 12th and May 19th meeting minutes.
3. Authorize Supervisor to sign fuel contract agreement with Rhinebeck Central Schools.
4. Letter of Intent for Town/Village tree grant program with DEC
5. Stop and Shop Sewage Works Corporation update
6. Start process for building moratorium which is set to expire July 31, 2008
7. “The Town of Rhinebeck hereby accepts insurance payment from Progressive Insurance for damage to cemetery wall and authorizes Town Supervisor to execute a release in favor of Progressive Insurance.” This concerns an automobile accident where the cemetery wall was damaged in the amount of $15,000. The driver’s insurance limit is $10,000. The insurance company is prepared to pay the $10K but need a release first. Fraleigh and Rakow are that the town cannot get any additional funds and are of the opinion that the Town should accept the $10,000.
8. Letter of intent for $20,000 matching grant from DEC with Village of Rhinebeck. “The Town of Rhinebeck is hereby authorized and directed to file an application for 50% matching funds in an amount not to exceed $40,000.00, and upon approval of said request to enter into and execute a project agreement with the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation for such financial assistant to the Town of Rhinebeck for the greening of Rhinebeck. Authorize supervisor to sign said agreement. 11.Authorize Town Clerk to advertise for on call laborer with CPO certification at $11.00 per hour.
