Announcements

“Open Book” for homeowners to review property assessments in the Assessor’s Office is today 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, May 13th 12 noon-4, May 15th 8 – 12 noon and May 17th 8 – 12 noon.

May 19th, at 5:00 pm Special Town Board meeting to open and award basketball court re-surfacing.

May 24th Town pool opens (weekends only until school is out June 27 and then daily).

May 26th Town is closed.

May 26th - annual Memorial Day American Legion Parade begins at 10:30 am

Grievance Day is May 27th, from 9-12 noon, 1-4:00 and 6-8 pm.

June 7th Red Hook Recycling Center is having household hazardous & electronic waste disposal day. Pre registration is required, call 463-6020.

July 13th - concert at Rhinecliff dock

Recreation Committee is looking for a new member

1. Neighborhood Watch Sign-Steve Dumais will be here for any questions.

2. Open truck bids and award highest bidder

3. Authorize Supervisor to sign Wallis, Loiacono & Cook, CPA retainer agreement to audit year ending December 31, 2007 to file annual financial report to State Comptroller, not to exceed $5,200.

4. Approve April 14th Town Board minutes

5. Authorize Supervisor to sign Vanguard Preventive Maintenance Service Contract for Town Hall roof at an annual cost of $935.00(April 1, 2008-March 31, 2009)

6. S & S Rhinebeck Sewage Corporation request - Henry Hocherman.

7. Appoint Gary Bassett to Budget Finance Committee through 12/31/08

8. Hire Ryan Dowden as cemetery part time laborer from 5/13-11/13 at $11.00 per hour

9. Accept John LeHane resignation from the Recreation Committee effective 4/21/08.

10. Increase mileage allowance from 44 ½ cents to 50 ½ cents effective May 12th, 2008.

11. Approve Annie Leibovitz application for July 5th fireworks display.

12. Authorize Supervisor to sign 2008 concession stand contract with Rhinebeck Deli .
