Town Emergency Coordinator

The coordinator is responsible for the Town of Rhinebeck comprehensive plan to manage natural or man-made disasters and emergencies. The plan vests the Supervisor and the Coordinator responsibility for declaring a "state of emergency," for overseeing the deployment of first responders, for assuring proper responses to calls for help, and to relate to county and state emergency officials. Town officials work with Village and School district officials to assure maximum coordination among the three public venues when confronting an emergency.
