Town Board Member Elizabeth Spinzia

Elizabeth Spinzia was elected to the Town Board for a four year term beginning January 1, 2012.  She serves as the Town Board Liaison to The Conservation Advisory Board (CAB), Web Committee, Tech Committee, Highway Department and the Rhinebeck Advisory Council (RAC).

Elizabeth, her husband Jim and son Leo, moved to Rhinebeck from Manhattan seven years ago.  After a successful career as a producer and executive producer in the TV Commercial/Film industry, Elizabeth is thrilled to bring her professional experience to the town board.

She is committed to: 

1) delivering a Capital Replacement Plan to the Board for discussion and adoption; 2) respecting the taxpayer's burden with thoughtful and thorough budget preparation that will protect essential services, properly manage infrastructure, and provide for town employees; 3) ensuring good communication, respect and civility among the Board members and promoting open communication with the public; 4) implementing a technology plan to bring Town Hall into compliance with the State mandates for open government and internet security;  and, 5) arranging an audit of our Town Insurance Plans.
